Create an activity for a restless child, a sensitive child, and an unmotivated child. This workshop introduces new ideas, activities and projects to keep children with sensory modulation disorder happily immersed in a pleasant experience. There will be live demonstrations with children demonstrating techniques for desensitizing sound, texture and food. Additional demonstrations include sensory immersion activities in textures such as yarn, wood, and stone, as well as In scent, color, and music. We will also take a quick look at recent data on sensory interventions.
Objectives

Teresa Garland, MOT, OTR / L, is an occupational therapist and author specializing in sensory and modulation issues.
