SEO Zen by Alex Becker
Description
Silo is a very powerful SEO technique. Your silo site has a specific organizational structure that helps search engines find your site’s topics.
It redistributes the juice of links from external URLs throughout the site, because all the pages on your sites are interconnected. This means that when one of your pages receives a link, it passes the link juice to other pages on your site.
The silo linking structure also provides powerful home page links to other pages on your site.
The effects of interconnected pages getting both the home page and inbound link distribution mean silo sites rank extremely quickly for their keywords. In fact, the ranking is much faster than you expect with fewer links than you would expect with silo sites as well.
More information on SEO – Marketing – Traffic:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of increasing the quality and quantity of website traffic by increasing the visibility of a website or web page to web search engine users.
SEO refers to improving unpaid results (known as “natural” or “organic” results) and excludes direct traffic / visitors and paid placement purchases.
SEO can target different types of search, including image search, video search, academic search, news search, and industry vertical search engines.
Optimizing a website may include editing its content, adding content
and modifying HTML and associated coding to increase its relevance to certain keywords and remove barriers to indexing by search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc.
Website promotion to increase the number of backlinks or inbound links is another SEO tactic. By May 2015, mobile search had surpassed desktop search. [
As an internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, computer algorithms that dictate the behavior of search engines, then,
what people are looking for, the actual search terms or keywords entered into the search engines, and which search engines are preferred by their target audience.
SEO is done because the website will receive more visitors from the search engine the higher the site ranks on the search engine results page (SERP).
These visitors can then be converted to customers.
SEO differs from local search engine optimization in that the latter is focused on optimizing the presence of a business on the Internet so that its web pages are displayed by search engines
systems when a user enters a local search for their products or services. The former is instead geared more towards national or international searches.
