Purest Persuasion by Michael Breen
DESCRIPTION
Dear readers,
This letter is about you.
It’s about how easy, successful and rewarding life you can live.
A life where opportunities are offered to you, doors are opened, and more and more people agree with your thoughts.
A life that has the power to influence everyone you meet.
You will find that the most successful people in life are not the most intelligent, wealthy and beautiful people. The most successful people are those who can convince others to take action.
Do you have a friend, family, or client listening and struggling to follow your suggestions?
Do you have a difficult boss, colleague, or client that resists your ideas?
Have you missed the opportunity to increase your career or income because you couldn’t convince you?
Do you want to be admired and command more respect and authority without being obsessed?
Do you want to rise to the top of your profession?
If so, you are in the right place.
It’s the biggest shortcut to living a dream life because you are trying to discover your ability to influence ethically and convince others.
Sadly, most people have never been taught how to persuade, and those who have been have been trained to persuade in three very big ways.
Please let me explain…
3 very big problem
Traditional approach to persuasion
The traditional approach to persuasion is usually taught as what a person does to someone else, including a mixture of reasoning, debate, and the “ hidden ” language patterns of recent decades. ..
… All are designed to let you agree with you.
Say “yes”.
These are all examples of “outside – persuasion”.
Persuaders try to push their ideas into the minds of listeners, starting from their point of view and by varying tactics and often referred to as “secret language patterns”.
And if you encounter resistance, you will be taught to overcome it by stimulating emotions, piling up tactics, and using persevering language patterns and tricks to persuade and press all the hot buttons of a person. .
Will these work? Yes, but …
Issue # 1: Works primarily in the short term
Those who are good at using linguistic patterns, anchored and triggered states, stacks of user hot buttons, etc. can make a wide range of people “persuasive” and say “yes” in the short term. It may not be their best interest.
Students with this approach to persuasion may even boast of “winning” and dominating others.
Especially when others are not educated on how to protect themselves from this type of “persuasion”.
But … back thinking, it’s not really convincing …
Problem # 2: closer to coercion than actual persuasion
The entire book shelf can be filled with tools and tactics used by the “go-anything” persuasion operator.
In addition to many practices being questionable ethics, it has another major drawback …
Issue # 3: Only works in certain situations.
Usually a one-time persuasion, negotiation, or influential scenario.
A situation where you do not need to meet (or trade) with the person again.
Situations where certain suspicious despicable persuasion tactics can be used to avoid problems.
yet…
If you are a manager, coach, consultant, sales professional, or helper for people, what in fact do you do to influence, convince and secure more people in almost every profession? But if Jesus wants to work in the long run, be more than one convincing and be successful and effective, then it must be usable in any environment.
(This also applies to personal life at home, like at work.)
When you use short-term persuasion tactics that make others feel trapped, cornered, tricked, manipulated, etc., they have a reputation for being untrustworthy and a reputation for someone to talk carefully. born.
And the next time you need to influence that person, you will experience great resistance.
In other words, you need to “convince” with double the effort.
This is a secret flaw that is barely talked about in an outer-to-inner tactics-focused approach to secret persuasion.
Many teachers of this style teach persuasion as a toolset designed to dominate others, “never lose arguments,” and “always win.”
They haven’t achieved that.
This does not stop them from marketing the language pattern and after short-term tactics. Little consideration is given to how this form of “persuasion” affects ongoing relationships with those people in the context of business, sales, or personal life.
It’s a “I win, they lose” approach and doesn’t work if you need to interact with that person again.
Thankfully, there is a new approach to persuasion that is ethical and elegant and works in the short and long term. It’s the purest form of persuasion, switching the old outdated approach.
You can also use this framework to enhance your previous persuasion training.
It starts with an approach that focuses on the inside-out relationship.
