About the speaker
Sean G. Smith, RN, BSN, NREMT-P, C-NPT, CCRN, CMC, CEN, CTRN, FP-C, CPEN have both emergency and emergency medical experience. He writes for the National Emergency Nursing Association CE / CE Exam for Newborn / Pediatric Pharmacology. He has been practicing and coaching in critical care and pre-hospital emergency care services for over 12 years. Career highlights include molecular endocrinology research, the US Navy, a wide variety of ICUs, flight nursing and medical missions, as well as providing medical support to NASA. Sean lectures at the national level and has extensive text review / trial writing / contributor credits. He holds multiple highly specialized qualifications in critical care, emergency and flight nursing, cardiology, and neonatal / pediatric critical care transportation.
Shawn is leading a non-profit institution that seeks to promote both emergency medicine and emergency clinical education as well as screening practices in medically inadequate areas and developing countries. Sean is an avid educator who serves as the official instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS-RF), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS-RF), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS-RF), and Tactical.
