About the speaker: Cindy ZARBANO, MSN, BSN, CCRN, CEN, PCCN, CMSRN, CLNC, NLCPCyndi Zarbano is an Intensive Care Nurse with over 20 years of experience as a Nurse who currently practices in the Minnesota Twin Cities area. She is a nationally recognized seminar speaker, who has opened several national symposia and has spoken on several topics for PESI, as well as a number of other companies in the US and Canada. In addition to her presentations, Cindy is a published author with a variety of books including The Pocket Guide to Assessing Clinical Nursing Skills and The Pocket Guide for Medical Surgical Nurses. Its products also include tutorials, webcasts and webinars.Along with her MS and BSN in Nursing, she has 3 more bachelor’s degrees and several nursing certifications. She served as a U.S. Navy officer for 10 years, leaving as LCDR (Lieutenant Commander) in 2001. Prior to nursing, she worked as a counselor for the mentally ill and at risk in a facility in South Minnesota. She returned to this institution as a lead psychiatric nurse for two years after leaving the military. In addition, Cindy provides legal advice to nurses and continues to act as a testimony expert in medical-related matters. Cindy’s teaching style is dynamic and energetic, while at the same time informal and easy to understand.
