These bags are specially made exclusively for training the iron palm. The design and dimensions are specified by the world-famous iron palm specialist, Shaolin master GU ru Zhang (1893 – 1952). Zhang, using an internal blow with his open palm, smashed thirteen bricks into a solid pile. Another famous story of Zhang’s iron palm is about a Russian circus that made an open challenge that if someone could take his “war horse”, they could get $ 1,000. After sustaining three kicks, Zhang managed to hit the horse. He gave the horse the same blow on the back with his hand as when breaking bricks, the horse died instantly, without any external injuries, but later an autopsy showed serious internal injuries.
These iron palm training bags are made from lightweight, durable canvas to ensure long-lasting impact training. They are filled and sewn with the optimal amount of material (mung beans, gravel, or steel shot depending on your skill level) and ready for iron palm training. This type of bag can also be used for any other styles of open hand or fist training. They are a “must – have” training tool for any existing martial arts.
TD 16: entry-level training bags are filled with mung beans (Chinese green beans) to provide good impact resistance, conditioning the skin and muscles. These bags are when struck will produce a powder from the mung beans to help prevent injury to your hands.

TD 17: medium-level training bags are filled with a special size of smooth round natural gravel. After 3 months of training with mung beans, the skin and muscles have created a solid Foundation. Now the practitioner is ready to go to gravel to get the ligaments and bones in order.

TD 18: Advance level training bags are made of two-layer lightweight canvas that is filled with chrome, oil-free and dust-free special selected steel shot with a small percentage of mung beans to help steel shots float when hitting the bag.
