More information
In this work, continuation of his previous Video, Jose Luis Montes elaborates the International Protocol of Police Kobudo, centered on techniques with baton and tonfa adapted to the police function, where hitting becomes a second term, with priority given to control and arrest.
Said Protocol intends to unify the international techniques that must be used by officials responsible for enforcing the law, respecting the international norms of the United Nations for police officers in peacekeeping missions and also those referred to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as the Convention against torture and degrading treatment.
With him we studied both the baton and the police tonfa, the ways to wield it, guards, hitting zones and prohibited blows, attack techniques, defense, dislocation, projections, driving, controls, immobilizations, pressures, defense baton, chokes, handcuffing, self-defense techniques, passive resistance situations and combat.
An interesting work, the result of the author’s long experience contrasting ideas and forms of training with police instructors from countries such as: United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, France, Italy, Germany, Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, Benin, Cameroon, Philippines, etc.
– Languages included in the Video: English, Español, Italiano.
